Weaving
BSL continues to be on the cutting edge of manufacturing
technology and systems. In quest for excellence, great attention is paid
to details at every stage of production--from raw material to finished
product.
- Greasy Wool is imported from Australia and then
scoured and combed into tops and dyed on HTHP machines. It's dried using

Preparation of worsted
yarn
- The worsted yarn is prepared on internationally
acclaimed N Schlumberger & Cie machines from France, which mixes the
fine polyester and woollen blends.
- The fiber is passed through the latest GN 6 Gilling
machines, for homogenous mixing and uniformity. Subsequently, the fibers
are combed on PB 30, PB 31 and latest PB 32 machines, which removes the
impurities and give them their characteristic strength.
- The finishing of the fiber is done on GC-15 Gilling
machines, with electronically controlled Auto-leveler and GV-11 Gill
Box.
- The spinning of the yarn is done on the latest
spinning machines like 421-E ZINSER Ring Spinner and COGNETEX IDEA-73 of
Italy. 100% knot-less wool yarn is produced on Thermosplicer and
Airsplicer and wool blended yarn are produced on Schlafhorst (Germany)
238 & 338 Autoconers.
- Assembly winding and twisting is done on the
PS-METLER and PRERNA/Star Volkmann TFO systems by using the Mesden
(Italy) splicers for producing knot-less twisted yarn.
- The yarn is finally checked for quality and all
imperfections are removed on electronically controlled Loepfe TK-840
yarn master.

Weaving
While the
richest quality Australian Merino wool & Trevira polyester go into
blended suitings, weaving systems also play a very important part in
determining the quality of the finished product. |
